JOB SUMMARY.
Responsible for identifying and prioritizing production requirements and coordinating the flow of materials, parts and assemblies to meet production schedules.
Safely and efficiently execute daily tasks providing administrative and operational support to the Business Unit in the production of sutures, needles, molding and mesh.
Typical tasks include entering and maintenance of data, ordering materials for production, changes to specifications in ADAPTIV as required and co­ ordination of manufacturing resources.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position.
· Confers with department supervisors and reviews master production schedules, work orders, departmental production schedules and related information to determine material requirements.
Performs material availability analysis to determine material and supply requirements.
· Coordinates plant inventory levels which includes ordering the correct quantities, determining the appropriate lead times, tracking the available storage space, and identifying reasons that require inventory adjustments and correcting the cause.
· Performs physical inventory counts.
· Monitors assembly line schedule and releases jobs to floor on a timely basis to maintain efficient production.
· Indicates number, type and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
· Reviews progress reports concerning status and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment and apprises production planning personnel of production delays.
· Compiles and prioritizes work orders for comparison to available finished units and fulfillment.
· Updates work order statuses and identifies shortages to management.
· Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, Corporate, and plant production departments to ensure the on-time delivery of products and efficient resolution.
· Analyzes production data and prepares reports.
· Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level · For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable · Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures · Performs other duties assigned as needed ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Administrative Support.
· Order raw materials/supplies through purchasing system.
· Enter data into Quality Management Systems i.

Unity and EtQ (NC, CAPA, AUDIT) as required.
· Assist in the investigation of product complaints as required.
· Label and segregate non-conforming materials.
· After approval of product control record in the NCR system, execute disposition.
· Completing assigned tasks in the NCR system within the target date.
· Assist in training associates for compliance with all regulatory, corporate, and local policies and ensure training records are completed.
· Assign curricula and request access to systems for newly hired associates.
Operational Support.
· Assist the Facilitator in monitoring line performance and work operations as needed providing work directions to production associates.
· Write and implement operational specifications using the document control system and maintain specification · documentation i.

· Record production and inventory information, including cycle counts into the manufacturing production planning systems.
· iInvestigate work orders that are held up at status to allow product to be completed in the system.
· Ensure aging work orders or sales orders are being prioritized through the process.
· Assist in creating and tracking safety and housekeeping work orders.
· Maintain work tracking databases as required i.

· Comply with all job specific safety procedures and utilize PPE when necessary.
· Comply with quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions.
· Use test equipment (Starett Gauge, Mitutoyo Gauge, Microscope, Instron, etc.) where applicable.
· Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.

ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, etc.) · Consistently meet required work performance targets (RE's), if applicable · Support LEAN and Six Sigma · Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2) including 6S and Operator Asset Care.
· Accurately complete records as defined within the job procedures (e.

manual and/or electronic documentation).
· Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
