TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER LEAD

Job Summary Responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within the company.
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying and documenting business requirements; and ensuring that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.
Job Description / Responsibilities Mentors more junior project managers and provides expertise in support of highly complex projects.
Collaboratively work with other Project Managers/ Delivery Leads on cross-project dependencies and milestones.
Implements project(s) of all sizes and complexities according to scope, schedule and deliverables agreed to by the project stakeholders and leadership.
Leads project teams in highly complex IT enterprise-wide projects and ensures adherence to company and project management policies, procedures, and practices.
Makes recommendations to improve and standardize processes for planning, requirements gathering, and requirements management.
Communicates project deadlines, assignments and objectives to project team members.
Provides feedback to project team resource managers on individual project team member’s performance during the project.
Facilitate cross-functional internal teams, to ensure that major project schedule milestones are achieved, internal lead times are protected, and that the customer receives a seamless, turnkey service experience.
Apply critical thinking skills to resolve conflict, navigate complex situations, troubleshoot non-typical project conditions, and actively resolve open or escalated issues.
Familiarity working in project management methodologies (e.
., Agile, SAFe, Scrum) and corresponding tools (e.
., ADO, Jira).
Plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for technical processes and projects.
Analyze and document requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
Conduct risk analysis and monitor the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables.
Responsible for preparation of formal management reports, status updates and presentations on projects.
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience plus five to seven (5 - 7) years’ relevant experience in project and process planning and management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Knowledge of cross functional departmental processes preferred.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively lead multiple projects.
Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal skills with ability to effectively multi-task.
Comprehensive computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects.
Comprehensive presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Domicile Information This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.
The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
