Monday, September   Reporting to the Senior Structural Geologist, the Structural Geology Co-op will be part of the Structural Geology team and will be responsible for working closely with other Structural Geologists on various projects.
Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PDT or MDT or relocate to a specific office (site-based).
Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to work (and adventure) in one of the most sustainable cities in the world!   Responsibilities Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures  Participation in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy every day   Support the Structural Geology team with planning and execution of projects   Engage with Engineering, Geological, and Mine Operations departments   Build and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business     Qualifications Working towards a degree or equivalent experience in Geology or Geological Engineering   Curiosity about structural geology, economic geology or machine learning applications in geology   Motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative, work independently and manage numerous projects simultaneously   Ability to independently conduct and summarize research on new topics   Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to distill and communicate complex ideas   Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)   Familiarity with GIS and 3D modelling software is an advantage    Wage Range.
$ / Month Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
