Solutions Architect III Description.
Job Summary Solutions architects will design, develop and implement quantitative analysis of complex business situations including performance, strategies, and solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and assist in architecting solutions.
Strong background and experience in data engineering.
Understands and ensures development of solutions supporting the movement of data and information assets following API-First / Service-Oriented Architecture principles.
This role requires strong technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, and technical specifications.
Define integration strategies and patterns for connecting disparate systems and applications.
Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to validate architectural decisions and demonstrate feasibility.
Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on best practices.
Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues proactively.
Monitor system performance and scalability, implementing measures to optimize resource utilization.
Prepare comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.
Skills / Abilities Knowledge in large scale data engineering solutions using public cloud like Azure, GCP or AWS.
Knowledge in data engineering tools including Azure Databricks or similar, Python or Scala, Azure data lake or similar, Azure event hubs or similar, Azure storage account or similar.
Knowledge in application development including single page application using React or similar, API development using APIM and Java or similar, Kubernetes, RDMS like PostgreSQL or similar Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business or a related field.
Minimum of three to four (3 - 4) years experience in designing, maintaining, and/or implementation of solutions to complex business situations.
A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Proficient in business software, spreadsheet applications and/or graphics or web development.
Ability to plan and work on multiple assignments concurrently.
Good interpersonal skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical concepts into understandable language.
Drive the successful execution of solution implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues as needed, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.
