SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER (SRE)

About the job.
Synopsys is looking for a motivated individual to work in our Silicon Lifecycle Analytics Operations team.
As Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a key role in designing and developing programmatic infrastructure and automation to build, maintain and improve the Synopsys Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions.
Responsibilities.
Design, deploy and maintain public cloud and private infrastructure to support Synopsys SaaS offerings Automate - as much as possible - all technical operations Set up monitoring, logging and tracing tools to detect and fix any potential issues Troubleshoot cloud/on-premise infrastructure, systems, network and application stacks Skills and Qualifications.
BS in Computer Science/Information Technology.
MS is preferred 5+ years of experience in software engineering, operations engineering or similar discipline Good communication skills, ability to interact with cross-functional teams Proficiency in English Technical background.
Solid knowledge in Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Docker and Nginx Significant experience in managing Ceph, Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Kustomize, Puppet, Terraform/Ansible...) Experience with Linux operating systems Knowledge of one or more languages (Python, Go, Perl, Java...) Experience building scalable infrastructure in one public cloud provider is a distinct advantage Knowledge in Jenkins or similar tool for CI/CD is an advantage Come join a team that is building innovative products for complex silicon systems.
