SENIOR SECURITY MANAGER

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Security Manager.
The facilities are located in Juarez, Mexico; but the ideal candidate will be located in El Paso, Texas or Juarez, Mexico.
The main objective of the position is to develop and supervise implementation of a sub-regional security strategy based on the actual as well as anticipated future risks.
The strategy will be in alignment with the J&J Global Security regional strategy and the J&J Business priorities.
Key Responsibilities.
Develop crisis plans based on plausible crisis scenarios.
Member of the country/sub-regional crisis management team.
Supervise development of emergency plans.
Coordinate crisis management actions and resources.
Security SPOC for local and sub-regional business leadership.
Represent J&J for security topics during government inspections and J&J audits.
Support the travel security program (e.
., assess safe hotel accommodations, transportation, restaurants.
Coordinate internal investigations (e.
., theft, workplace violence, employee misconduct).
Support HR and Business leadership during employee separations.
Site security.
Evaluate risk assessments.
Evaluate and determine the site risk level.
Liaise with local law enforcement.
Track performance through monthly review of J&J Global Security KPI’s.
SME support for security projects.
Review and approve security design plans for new sites and buildings.
Ensure compliance with the J&J Global security minimum standards and systems.
Evaluate and present cost optimization opportunities and capital projects to business stakeholders.
Event security (e.
., large business meetings, EC member visit).
Executive and travel protection assignment coordination.
To develop and present an annual security strategy in alignment with the Global Security Objectives.
Develop and present a multi-year Strategic Masterplan for the sub-region.
To conduct upon request a security assessment for the residences of Business leaders based in high-risk areas and provide security recommendations.
To develop and implement a Background Check Program for employees and contractors in alignment with Global Security guidance and local laws.
To develop and maintain a Security culture among the employees and contractors and conduct internal security surveys and utilizes results to improve processes and procedures for security services in country or country cluster.
To coordinate regular internal Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys to obtain feedback from the business stakeholders on the quality and satisfaction of the overall security services as well as evaluating their expectations.
Qualifications Education.
At least a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Forensic Sciences or related field, or Security Management.
MBA is a plus.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
At least 8-10 years in a senior corporate security management position, preferably in a multi-national environment.
Must have professional proficiency in English.
Passionately care about protecting Company interest and serving others.

Results-objectives-goal oriented; cost-benefit analyst, decision maker, strategic planner, and tactical executive.

Teamwork player, able to build effective relationships, participating actively in meetings that involve security-related topics and able to build consensus and impact decisions.
Must be innovative and independent, able to manage an aggressive workload in a high performing matrixed organization.
Able to prioritize, plan and execute work programs on own initiative with developed sense of self- knowledge, knowing own limitations and able to judge when it is necessary to consult / inform / involve others.
Fully informed of security-related regulations in his/her subregion.
Ability to analyze raw information and able to stay calm and keep issues in proportion when under pressure and tenacity.
Open-minded and flexible.
Able to adapt to different corporate and social cultures, intellectually curious and interested in technological developments.
Comfortable when speaking in public and able to develop presentational skills and accustomed to organizing and delivering security training programs.
Preferred.
ASIS Member is desired; CPP – PSP - PCI is a plus, Military or Law Enforcement Background.

This position may require up to 30% domestic and international travel.

The base pay range for this position is $.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
