Project Description.
TROJENA (The Mountains of NEOM) will be an iconic, world-class destination, blending natural and developed landscapes and will offer unique experiences for residents and visitors alike.
Located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia in the region of Tabuk just 50km from the coast, TROJENA will be a destination like no other on earth.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and driving the contract formation, supplier selection, contractor mobilization and work completion of iconic and architecturally significant buildings, tourist and residential facilities, on the development of a golf course village within the Relax Cluster of the Trojena project.
Bechtel is the Project Management Consultant managing the contractors performing the work.
The role will span from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, occupancy, and contract close-out.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES.
·       Manage, coordinate and drive the contract formation, supplier selection, contractor mobilization and work completion through the lifecycle of multiple packages of works that form the overall Golf Village complex, ·      Establishes an appropriate, integrated organizational structure, including off-project functional and specialist support.
Defines and advertises roles, responsibilities and authorities to project team members/partners and the Customer to ensure project completion in a safe manner, within budget, on schedule, and in conformance with the appropriate standards, specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.
The project organizational structure should address multiple execution offices, multiple project entities, joint venture, alliance and consortium arrangements, as appropriate.
·      Ensures scope, design basis and objectives are defined, best practices/lessons learned reviewed, detailed work plans, schedules, budgets and procedures are established, including.
Execution Plan; Contract Management Plan; Plan for addressing critical cross-functional work processes and systems, etc.
Obtains concurrence by the members of the project team, functional management and the Customer.
Ensures integration of work plans of multiple execution units or entities, such as Joint Ventures.
Promotes the use of constructability reviews during project execution.
·      Monitors and controls all contractual commitments to ensure that all work is being performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and terms of the contract, that a trend program is in place, that change orders and claims are processed in a timely manner.
Implements and maintains a change management control system.
Ensures that all Customer communications on the prime contract are documented.
On behalf of the Customer, manages contractors on construction management projects.
·      Oversee performance of the general contractors, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems.
·       Lead and coordinate with contractors, engineers, client, and other stakeholders involved in substructure and superstructure works.
·      Leads input to ensure continuous construction work fronts availability through review of look ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, engineering deliverables, material delivery schedules and any other service requirements including contractor submittals.
·      Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site.
Verifies compliance with Permit and License requirements and stipulations.
·      Responsible for a multi-functional team who will be reviewing and approving the contractor's submittals, schedule acceptance, technical queries, Field change documents and other submittal documents including Drawings and As-Builts.
·      Ensure contract and commercial administration is undertaken closely in accordance with the contract to keep the project moving, to protect the Employers interests and minimize disputes, ·      Ensure all materials and equipment on the site fully comply with international standard and technical specification requirements.
·      Ensure the closure of project is systematic and complete in all respects.
·      Maintains an effective relationship with client, stakeholders and other functional departments and coordinates all jobsite contractual activities.
·      Coordinates and monitors interfaces with other contractors, lead the review meetings.
Qualifications, Experience, Job Knowledge and Skill set Requirements.
·       Minimum 20 years of experience in the construction industry ·       A recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Construction ·       Minimum 15 Years of experience in progressively senior positions on large construction programs ·       Thorough knowledge of contract formation and execution management, for example with FIDIC contract conditions ·       Thorough knowledge of major project management requirements and safety procedures and practices associated with the construction works ·       Experience in performance management and improvement of distressed projects or contracts ·       Experience in mobilising and managing multiple sites at any one time ·       Preferred experience in the following.
o   Major construction works of facilities for recreational, hospitality or sporting purposes – e.
., High end residential, hotels complexes, Stadium or multi-purpose sports facilities.
o   High grade architecturally significant projects for public occupancy (such as airports, transport hubs, hotel complexes or large residential or office complexes).
o   Major earthworks construction, including complex mass-haul undertakings o   Multi campus building complexes, such as apartment complexes, villa compounds, universities or large schools.
