The Chemical Development Pilot Plants at the Geel and Beerse sites; and our Commercial API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) plants are crucial in driving forward the development of new medicines.
Our primary goal is to ensure the safe, optimal, and competitive delivery of lifesaving medications to patients at all times.
In addition to scaling up Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) from lab scale to commercial production, the pilot and commercial plants also play a meaningful role in supplying medicines necessary for vital clinical studies before a product launch.

As a Project Delivery Engineer your primary objective is to facilitate breakthrough enhancements in the manufacturing process, focusing on the development of business cases; scoping; designing and implementing new process equipment and systems, supporting our New Product Introductions in Beerse and Geel.
In pursuit of this goal, you will collaborate closely with the Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Clinical Development and Supply and New Product Introduction departments.
Your responsibilities will include.
Act as project delivery engineer at appropriate stages from inception to completion Design and selection of engineering alternatives for complex production and processing equipment Prepare project intakes; including scoping, business case analysis, alternatives assessments; communicating the selected option and alternatives for project approval Establish alignment with the project sponsor and aligns core and extended team members to deliver the final project objectives Lead the design, execution and close out of all project-related activities including leading internal project resources and the procurement of third-party contractors and suppliers.
Project budget range up to 1Million USD.
Uses Risk Management methodologies to identify and handle risks to Final Project Objectives in alignment with project customers Act as mentor to external Project engineers Maintain awareness of external environment, giving value and insights Keep up to date with new chemical process technologies Qualifications Education.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent University degree in a Science, Technology or Engineering field is required.
Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
