The Director of Scientific Learning and Development will be responsible for executing the scientific training needs of the Field and HQ Medical teams closely partnering with the US Field Directors.
The Director will create and support onboarding and training content, being responsible for JJIM Learning Management Systems (LMS) as well as external resources, ensuring that all training materials and curricula are current and compliant.
Primary Responsibilities · Develop training curriculum and resources for MSLs, Medical Directors, Publication Leads and other MAF matrix stakeholders.
· Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) software and support onboarding process across company Learning & Development forums and projects.
· Manage SharePoint & other Communication Systems for the FBMS.
· Work with the MSL Comms Associate Director to oversee the compliant submission of field facing content through the MedRC process as well as manage partnerships with content producing vendors.
· Serve as a member of the MSL certification committee, conduct field training rides as needed – follow up to certification programs, ensuring strong scientific acumen.
· Manage proactive and reactive assets within iCONNECT and coordinate with Scientific Exchange Solutions team, and US Field Directors, to execute on the medical affairs strategy.
· Assist with analysis of monthly, quarterly, annual metrics associated with FBMS execution.
· Understand and work within the Medical Affairs regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines/policies.
Support the development of the Field Medical VOC process.
Qualifications Education.
· Terminal degree required; Doctorate strongly preferred (examples.
PhD, PharmD).
Experience and Skills.
Required.
· A minimum of 8 years healthcare experience with 3+ years MSL experience, rare diseases highly preferred.
· Experience onboarding and training MSLs and other MAF matrix stakeholders · Comfortable working with CRM, LMS, and MS Office Suite.
· Proficiency creating scientific content for training and field facing materials.
· Strong interdependent partnering skills with a demonstrated ability to work/lead in cross-functional environments.
· Demonstrated ability to partner with scientists, academicians, and clinicians.
· Ability to partner effectively with medical and scientific affairs colleagues.
· This position is in Horsham, PA on the hybrid/flex schedule with 50% travel for medical conferences, field rides, department meetings, and/or investigator meetings.
Preferred.
· Rare Diseases experience is highly preferred · Project Management experience or project management training are desirable · Application of current and/or emerging digital technologies for operational productivity and innovation · Ability to balance multiple tasks/projects required with experience partnering with scientists, academicians, and clinicians Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
