SAFETY OFFICER II

JOB PROFILE SAFETY OFFICER II   OBJECTIVE Responsible for monitoring compliance with the policies and procedures of Safety, Occupational Health and Environment according to Chilean Legislation and with the standards of clients and the Modular Mining Chile region.
REQUIREMENTS Engineer in Risk Prevention Execution.
Expert in Risk Prevention of the Extractive Mining Industry - Sernageomin B (exclusive).
Minimum 5 years experience in mining area.
Have training and/or certifications from the competent bodies in the field of safety, occupational health and the environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, monitor and evaluate a Work Program in Safety, Occupational Health and the Environment according to the needs of the organization and the clients.
Make monthly reports of safety activities in the field according to the Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Work Program of the organization and clients.
Advice on Safety, Occupational Health and the Environment to the line of supervision of the company proposing solutions for the control of risks in the workplace.
Review and give notice according to the requirements of the clients or at least once a year the updates applicable to the Internal Regulation of Order, Hygiene and Security of the company.
Carry out educational actions in Safety, Occupational Health and the Environment, promoting the training of employees according to the Training Program for the current year.
Registration of monthly field activities, statistical evaluation.
Participate in the meetings held by the Joint Committees and advise them on technical matters of Hygiene and Safety of the company and the client.
Assistance, representation and solution of requirements raised by the Administrative Body of Law and the Supervisory Bodies with competence in the matter.
Keep the risk matrix of work sites up to date.
Carry out ODI induction, delivering information to collaborators.
Evaluation of the risks associated with personal protection elements, ensuring that they are in good condition and that they are used, ensuring that the work is carried out safely in order to avoid accidents.
Carry out other actions to support Modular Mining personnel, aimed at a healthy life that involves all company employees.
Disseminate and/or retrain staff in matters of Safety, Occupational Health and the Environment.
Replacement of activities and/or functions to the Corporate Safety Officer.
Create and track boot folders.
Support in accreditation process.

OBJETIVO Responsable de velar por el cumplimiento de las políticas y procedimientos de Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente de acuerdo a la Legislación Chilena y a los estándares de los clientes y de la región Modular Mining Chile.
Job Duties and Responsibilities RESPONSABILIDADES - Elaborar, monitorear y evaluar un Programa de Trabajo en Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente de acuerdo a las necesidades de la organización y de los clientes.
- Realizar informes mensuales de las actividades de seguridad en el campo de acuerdo con el Programa de Trabajo en Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente de la organización y los clientes.
- Asesorar en Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente a la línea de supervisión de la empresa proponiendo soluciones para el control de riesgos en el lugar de trabajo.
- Revisar y dar a conocer de acuerdo con los requisitos de los clientes o por lo menos una vez al año las actualizaciones aplicables al Reglamento Interno de Orden, Higiene y Seguridad de la empresa.
- Realizar acciones educativas en Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente, promoviendo la capacitación de los empleados de acuerdo con el Programa de Capacitación para el año en curso.
- Registro de las actividades de campo mensuales, evaluación estadística.
Required Skills REQUISITOS - Ingeniero en Ejecución en Prevención de Riesgos.
- Experto en Prevención de Riesgos de la Industria Extractiva Minera - Sernageomin B (excluyente).
- Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en el área minera.
- Contar con capacitación y/o certificaciones de los organismos competentes en materia de seguridad, salud ocupacional y medio ambiente.
