Proposal Specialist, Digital Services FLSmidth, a global leader in products and solutions for Mining industry clients, is looking for a team-oriented, talented individual to join our global Digital Services group as a Proposal Specialist.

In this job role, you will be responsible for estimating, generating, and managing proposals as part of the Digital Services Proposal team.
You will work closely with our sales teams to identify and follow up on opportunities, determine requirements, and promptly prepare and manage quotations.
This position is an individual contributor.
Your responsibilities Manage the end-to-end proposal process for digital services, including RFQ analysis, proposal writing, cost calculation and pricing, and proposal submission, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements Collaborate with sales teams, product managers, project managers, and subject matter experts to develop winning proposals that showcase our digital services' value proposition Provides feedback on proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery Coordinate proposal reviews and approvals with internal stakeholders, ensuring all feedback is incorporated and proposals are submitted on time Participates in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes, as required Delivers cost estimates of services/products or projects based on subject matter expert's inputs Estimates current material and labor costs for projects based on subject matter expert's inputs Develop and maintain proposal content, templates, standards, and tools that can be reused across the organization to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal process Conduct post-proposal debriefs to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Prepares booking packages and prepares internal kickoff meetings with key stakeholders, when the proposal returns as PO from a customer Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities What you bring BA/BS 3+ years of professional experience with an international company Prior Industry/process knowledge of Mining and digital products is an advantage Experience with proposal management tools and technologies, such as proposal automation software, Microsoft Office especially in Word and Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle and/or Epicor is and advantage Since you will need to interact in an international environment, fluency in English is needed in addition to Spanish Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills in order to work with stakeholders on a daily basis Coordination and interpersonal skills.
