Job Description Summary.
Under limited supervision, responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross-functional project-oriented work efforts.
Frequently leads large project efforts, including taking responsibility for issue resolution across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing project financials.
Drafts and reviews documentation in compliance with the FedEx global development process, and ensures all project deliverables are in compliance with FedEx global development process.
Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the department/organization.
Provides mentoring for the development of those in less senior positions.
Job Specific Information.
In collaboration with leadership and key business partners, this role is responsible for defining, standing up, and integrating Clearance and Airline IT into portfolios to deliver the DRIVE bankable plan.
Supporting the IT organization in collaboration with business partners.
Ensures DRIVE and Lean Portfolio Management governance, processes, and practices are in place to effectively manage the flow of demand.
Aligns Portfolio partners and information to establish dynamic visibility to demand, value, and the capacity it takes to deliver it.
Drives alignment with partners to prioritize, shape, and prepare demand for execution Aligns key partners to define/refine the strategic Portfolio IT roadmap – making it visible and dynamic.
Enables data-driven decision making, prioritization, value realization, removal of obstacles, and risk management.
Manages the flow of demand from idea to value realization Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus.
Demonstrated experience in standing up/leading/and or managing a Portfolio In-depth working knowledge and experience in SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management Demonstrated experience in leading major corporate initiatives Experience in successfully leading teams through change/responding to changing business objectives Demonstrated ability to lead and guide cross-functional and multi-cultural teams Takes initiative, ownership, and accountability.
Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate ideas and information effectively at all levels of the organization Demonstrates flexibility and creativity in solving problems to achieve shared outcomes Skillfully and creatively navigates organizational/resource constraints Expert in negotiation and conflict resolution/prevention.

Minimum Qualifications.
Bachelor's Degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment.
