Patients First | Innovation | Winning Culture | Heart Recovery POSITION SUMMARY The Product Development teams are focused on rapidly developing the next generation of percutaneously implanted cardiac pumps, both for acute and long-term patient support.
Our team is leading or engaging in the development of the entire system including.
· Pump/catheter/motor · Access and repositioning sheaths · On-board sensors / intelligence · Console, UI, and System performance · Clinical best practices, training, and pump management techniques KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

§ Assist in the design of components/fixtures § Conduct engineering tests for design improvement § Provide input into process development and improvement § Conduct failure analyses under mentorship of senior engineering staff § Analyze data and present results to larger Engineering team Qualifications REQUIREMENTS.
· Junior, Senior, or Grad student pursuing a degree in mechanical, biomedical engineering, or directly related discipline · Strong design, testing, and analytical skills required (e.
.
