leadership in nuclear energy that provides matching funding to industry to design and build an operational advanced reactor.
TerraPower, a leading advanced generation technology company founded by former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, will be deploying its 345 MWe sodium fast reactor (SFR), called Natrium.
The Natrium plant features an advanced, cost-competitive reactor design that is safer, simpler, easier, and less costly to construct, less expensive to operate, and able to provide energy that is competitive with fossil fuels   Position Summary Essential duties include being familiar with development of piping material specifications.
Candidate should have experience and be familiar with ASME piping codes and standards to help with code comparisons to support project needs.
The candidate will perform dimensional data review for piping components specified in Bechtel piping material classes.
Ability to create geometric data in accordance with Industry Design Codes/Standards and project requirements in Smart Reference Data (SRD) application.
Possess adequate experience to adopt a practical approach to piping component problems and be familiar with the requirements of 3D modelling.
Candidate may also be able to rount piping in the SmartPlant 3D Model   Responsibilities Familiar with the development of piping material specifications.
Candidate should have past experience and be familar  with ASME piping codes and standards to help with code comparisons to support project needs.
Perform dimensional data review for piping components specified in Bechtel piping material classes.
Ability to create geometric data in accordance with Industry Design Codes/Standards and project requirements in Smart Reference Data (SRD) application.
Develop and maintain piping commodity codes in SRD application.
Having adequate experience to adopt a practical approach to piping component problems and be familiar with the requirements of 3D modelling.
Assist Bechtel Plant Design Piping & Valve Group and coordinate with Engineering Automation discipline as required.
Rout/Design Pipe sin the SmartPlant 3D model   Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications Level 1.
AAS degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
Level 2.
AAS degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 11 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications Knowlegde of SRD in creation of Piping Specifications.
Previous Bechtel Pipe & Valve experience.

Previous commercial nuclear power experience.
