Come work an attractive schedule with a rotation of day shifts and experience what work life balance is all about!   Reporting to the Supervisor, Mine Maintenance the Gasfitter-Pipefitter is responsible for performing regular preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of appliances, equipment, and accessories in various sectors of the mine.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who can work cross functionally, able to work independently and as part of a team and has a willingness to learn and grow.

$ / Hour     Base earnings include the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location.
It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
Responsibilities.
Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Perform regular preventive maintenance, diagnostics and complete repairs on HVAC units, boilers and water and waste disposal systems Troubleshoot all system problems including disassemble and reassemble of system components  Maintain, create and record work order records   Qualifications.
Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Pipefitter Certification and minimum of Class B Gas fitting certification   Willingness to pursue a certification as a Class A Gasfitter   Registered in the Gasfitter - Class A program or willing to  Valid driver’s license  Working knowledge of basic computer systems (Microsoft Office®)  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications  Small Water and Small Waste Water systems ticket would be an asset  Experience in a mining environment is an asset    As Canada’s largest diversified mining company, Teck is committed to providing the world with essential resources safely and sustainably.
