Project Overview Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first AP nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ).
Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project.
As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility.

Position Summary/Responsibilities Essential duties include performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.
Code.
Hands-on use of a pipe stress analysis program (AutoPipe preferred).
The stress work includes the modeling of the piping systems to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.
Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications Level 1.
BS degree in engineering from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Level 2.
BS degree in engineering from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of dynamic analysis and ASME B31.

Prior experience using pipe stress analysis program such as ME101, Caesar II, and/or Bentley AutoPIPE.
Preferred Qualifications Experience using AutoPipe for pipe stress analysis.
EIT certification.
Previous Bechtel project experience.
Previous DOD/DOE project experience.
