Job Description.
Assists as a support individual contributor that executes routine tasks, following a defined standard output or set of procedures and protocol.
Provides support for internal Production Equipment Repair & Maintenance needs and short-term requirements.
Closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities.
Assists in the follow-through and completion of tasks for the support function of the Production Equipment Repair & Maintenance unit, and closely follows established administrative processes ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Documents the front-line technical implementation, modification and ongoing monitoring of the quality, safety and efficiency of discrete production of unit-based items assembled from component parts.
Performs front-line technical deliverables to share with Manufacturing Engineers, to help develop Repair and Maintenance schematics for the rollout of new and improved repair and maintenance processes, tools and equipment.
Performs specific tasks in accordance with operational control standards and testing equipment to assess conformance with engineering specifications, including test apparatus of raw materials, parts, components, finished items and packaging.
Troubleshoots and resolves technical production line problems to minimize finished item rejection levels, monitoring gauges and other indicators of production equipment and machinery performance.

Qualifications Qualifications Education.
The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience Experience and Skills.
Required.
The candidates should have 4+ years of experience as an operator or technician in small component or medical device manufacturing.
Experience working in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO and 21 CFR 820.
Preferred.
• Ability to bring up issues, prioritize workload and manage time on a daily/weekly basis.
• Ability to perform delicate assembly processes on small components or devices (examples include welding, swaging, soldering).
• Ability to support troubleshooting and communicate information to engineers and production managers to assist with root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated communication skills • Proficiency in basic digital literacy such as Microsoft Office (for email), Word, and Excel Other.
• Be able to read and interpret work order instructions, SOP's, visual aids, and engineer drawings in English • This position is fully onsite in Irvine, California.
• Frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Required to wear special garments and PPE when working in the cleanroom environment.
• The employee will be using microscopes or close vision to perform his / her duties.
