The role of Maintenance Technician, Mechanical is to support the operation of the utilities at Janssen Pharmaceutical Sciences, Little Island.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that implements the maintenance on all utilities related equipment and systems to standard procedures, while ensuring at all times, safe and optimal operation.
THE DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE.
Ensure that critical utilities are operating efficiently and optimally including maintenance of process water systems, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, monitoring and reporting of classified and low bio-burden areas.
Implement daily utilities tasks and duties in a safe, orderly, efficient and accurate way.
Advise Utilities coordinator of shortcomings observed in the implementation of ones duties.
Ensure all plant equipment is functioning optimally and is available for use before handover to the operations department.
Operate machinery in accordance with operating procedures.
Liaise with particular departments on release of equipment.
Ensure safety certificate is available before commencing particular duties.
Advise utilities co-ordinator of training needs and requirements.
Supervise contractor personnel.
Integrity of nitrogen and compressed air.
Coordination of activities during annual shutdown.
Qualifications We would love to hear from you, if you have the following essential requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS Education.
- Craft Trade Certified Mechanical Fitter EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS.
Required.
- Minimum of 10 Years operation within a regulated industry.
Pharmaceutical an advantage PREFERRED.
