MATERIAL HANDLER (MULTIPLE POSITIONS)

Ethicon, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Material Handler.
This position will be based at the San Lorenzo facility for approximately 4 months following the start date.
Subsequently, the position will be based at the Manatí facility.
Ethicon is expanding its manufacturing operations to Manatí, Puerto Rico.
Resources hired will work in San Lorenzo temporarily until the Manatí Manufacturing Facility is operational.

om/ Responsibilities.
Replenishment of the Kanbans and proper monitoring of Kanban levels by manufacturing line and/or cell.
Monitor the manufacturing line performance and work operations.
Ensure the maintenance of the manufacturing line rhythm.
Ensure that production operators have sufficient raw materials to perform their assigned duties.
Ensure the material they distribute to production operators complies with required process and/or specifications.
Distribute tooling, as needed for the production operators.
Immediate communication to Facilitator or Manufacturing Manager of manufacturing line issues.
If necessary, order batches and creates requisitions.
Perform other work related duties as assigned by supervisor/facilitator.
Follow current compliance regulations and standards.
Comply with all federal regulated programs.
Qualifications A minimum of Hight School Diploma required Two (2) years of experience in a regulated industry or professional experience is preferred Basic computer management skills are required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills is required.
Statistical and analytical problem solving.
Must be able to work under pressure achieving consistently high results through individual and team efforts.
Ability to perform repetitive manual movements (fine manipulation) and/or the requirement to lift an approximate weight of lbs from the ground is required.
Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Position will initially be based in San Lorenzo until the Manatí Facility is operational and, as a result, the incumbent is transferred.
During the period that the incumbent reports to the San Lorenzo facility, this facility will be considered the employee’s work center.
Once transferred to the Manatí facility, the incumbent’s work center will be changed to the Manatí site.
Availability to travel up to 10%.
