Proud to be an equal opportunity The Manufacturing Engineer functions as part of an integrated Engineering and Facility team to provide support to on-going CAR-T Operations at the Raritan, NJ plant.
This role will work closely with business leaders and functional groups to understand their needs and assess changes to enable the success of the business.
This position works directly with the Engineering Leader and is integrated in the team to support Manufacturing Operations.
This role is accountable for supporting the facility and leading end to end small projects and aiding large projects by leading subprojects under the supervision of the project managers.
Key Responsibilities.
Executes and coordinates work required for changes to CAR-T facility.
Works in GMP quality systems.
Works cross-functionally on change orders to support process improvements, regulatory requirements, quality improvements, and cost improvements.
Assists technicians and engineers to solve technical problems.
Understands Key Performance Indicators and assists team to identify areas for improvement.
Provide maintenance engineering input to capital projects through equipment selection review, preventative maintenance development, spare parts needs, and training requirements.
Develops and implements safety improvements in their area of responsibility.
Establishes the initial Preventive Maintenance and Calibration activities for new equipment.
Updates PM and Calibration activities through utilization of the PM / Calibration processes.
Act as a focal point for addressing and resolving manufacturing issues that require heightened focus.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of highly-visibility issues.
Qualifications Education.
A minimum of a bachelor’s and/or equivalent degree is required; focused degree in Engineering, preferred Experience and Skills.
Required.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and documentation.
Ability to work in a cleanroom, laboratory, and office setting, Preferred.
Experience in Cell Therapy or Pharmaceutical industry.
Other.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, domestic and internationally The anticipated base pay range for this position is USD.
The base salary range listed is based on a US pay scale and may be adjusted based on the successful candidate’s geographic location The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
