MAINTENANCE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

The primary objective of this position is to enhance the overall spare parts management process within the supply chain.

Scope of Work:
Develop a codification system for spare parts, ensuring consistency and ease of identification.
Establish a min-max inventory control system for spare parts, considering factors such as criticality, usage, cost, and lead time.
Determine optimal stocking levels for each spare part category to minimize stockouts and reduce carrying costs.
Recommend appropriate sourcing strategies, such as vendor consolidation and long-term agreements, to optimize procurement processes.
Link spare parts to the asset hierarchy, allowing easy access to equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs) for efficient spare parts management.
Identify maintenance and operations inventory items separately to improve issuance and tracking.
Set up the process for the management of repair items within CMMS in coordination with your stores, finance, and maintenance team, ensuring streamlined repair processes.

Deliverables:
Standardized processes for store management.
Standardized codification system for spare parts and consumables.
Criticality analysis for inventory items – ABC classification.
Setting up Min-max for inventory based on criticality, usage, cost, and lead time.
Stocking level recommendations for each spare part category.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
In-depth knowledge of spare parts management, inventory control, and procurement processes.
Familiarity with CMMS and inventory management systems.
Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize processes for efficiency.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
