This position will assess Network requests and design and implement network solutions for J&J Manufacturing, Laboratory and Logistics (MLL) locations in the North America region.
The successful candidate will work with J&J partners and providers to delivery these solutions enabling J&J business systems to provide products and servers to Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology customers.
Key Responsibilities.
All aspects of Data Networking including LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewall, Cabling and associated facilities work will need to be applied to the delivery of network solutions in the region.
The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of how to address business requirements and engineer solutions to align with J&J standards and then coordinate in-house resources, capacity teams, outsourced teams and vendors to ensure cost-effective and on-time delivery of said solutions that meet business partner’s requirements.
We must also effectively communicate with business partners and stakeholders across multiple geographies.
When required, the role may become involved with operational support related to the delivered solution.
For other (non-MLL) global business projects, the focus of the role is to act as a “go to” person and to ensure work is coordinated and properly resourced across the Regional Delivery teams and vendor resources.
This will require building strong partnerships with the other Global Networking teams, key business partners and vendors.
This team works with outsourced resources including Regional Capacity teams and outsourced Network engineers, ISPs, Circuit providers, vendor/partners, and cabling and facilities contractors.
Qualifications Education.
Bachelor’s Degree required PREFERRED.
CCNA, CCNP, CCIE Experience and Skills.
Required.
· Good technical knowledge and experience with two or more of the following infrastructure components.
SDN, SDWAN, Network Automation, Cloud Solutions, 5G, DHCP/DNS, WAN/LAN topologies and services, WLAN, MPLS, IP management tools, network management applications, Internet, IPT, QOS, EIGRP/BGP, unified communications Knowledge and/or Certification on Cisco data networking products and IOS, firewalls Understanding and familiarity of MLL equipment such as manufacturing systems, OT devices, PLCs, and Sensors.
Experience in network and infrastructure planning and development preferably within MLL environments and leading outcomes in an IT infrastructure environment Experience translating business requirements into technical network solutions Experience leading technically complex network deployments and projects Effective interpersonal skills both written and oral Willingness to work nonstandard hours – weekends and evenings – to support implementations while maintaining a strong customer service focus Preferred.
Experience in Health Care/Pharmaceutical sectors would be helpful PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, Lean certification are desirable Other.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ to $.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
