We are looking for a Technical Product Manager for Janssen ASPAC, based in Tokyo.
This role - within the HCP Experience Product Group, and part of the ASPAC Technology organisation - is responsible for providing best in class customer experience and capabilities to Health Care Professionals (HCP) across in-person and digital touchpoints in a Product Centric operating model.
This role reports into the regional HCP Experience Product Group Director and will have responsibility for team members in Tokyo.
Since J&J Innovative Medicine has been advancing capabilities in Customer Engagement, Next Best Action and Content Relevance using the latest machine learning and rules based recommendation models.
The primary focus of this role will be to expand and enhance product capabilities to meet business needs within Japan, China, Australia and Korea markets.
The position will work closely with the Business Product Owner, regional Technology Leaders, Architecture and Technology services teams to evolve capabilities to meet business strategic objectives.
This person will have responsibility for delivery of single country, multi-country and AP regional technology initiatives, vendor management, requirements gathering, release planning and technical application life cycle management.

Evaluate key technology trends and impact on various business processes.
Find opportunities for areas where technology can drive differentiation in outcomes · Leads and sets a clear product vision, is responsible for multi-generation product strategy; Maximizes value by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value · Cultivate relationships with external agencies, partners, J&J suppliers and customers, to develop deep insights into the needs of our business departments, patients, customers, markets and communities and become the go-to person for our business / technology partners · Be a technology product leader, working with business partners to identify unmet needs, propose solutions, and assist in the development of business cases and product/project charters · Responsibility to champion and lead by example Agile methodology for product development e.

Product Roadmap, Product Backlog, Scrum and Sprint meetings · Conduct Business Analysis.
Map out business process; Capture business requirements and specifications (story boards, use cases); support translation into technical requirements · Identify process “pain points” and early improvement opportunities.
Build business case for improvement initiatives (e.
., impact, feasibility, and investment required).
Create implementation plans for improvement initiatives including timeline, owner, and key landmarks · Have a regional/global view on technology solutions, building a good understanding of business practice in other countries through a network of IT colleagues, in order to leverage or create harmonised solutions where possible · Proactively match business needs with existing J&J technology capability, by showcasing local/regional best practice with key stakeholders, encouraging adoption of core systems and highlighting value in a business context · Provide rapid prototyping and conceptual designs where requirements are ambiguous or unproven · Ensure J&J information and assets are appropriately managed, valued and protected in accordance with Information Asset Protection and Compliance policies · Budget Management.
Optimize application portfolio and operating costs to drive ongoing business value.

Mandarin will be highly desired · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable communicating and collaborating across all functions and with internal and external partners across multiple countries · Ability to facilitate workshops, meetings and influence across a range of business roles and technology stakeholders · A flexible individual that thrives in a complex, fast paced, multi-national and evolving technology environment · Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges · Continuous learner, able to demonstrate a familiarity with current trends · Capable to take a “hands-on approach” to experiment and try things if needed · Genuine passion for technology, understanding how things work, and for applying technology to bring value to business and customers · Knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry Qualifications · Minimum of 10+ years of Information Technology experience and matrix teams within large enterprise organisations · Knowledge of technology domains for In-Person and Digital Engagement relevant to the Life Sciences eco-system (Salesforce/Veeva CRM, Salesforce Effectiveness, Marketing Cloud, Sitecore/websites, mobile apps), Content Lifecycle, (Veeva Vault, Modular Content) and Data Analytics/Data Science.
· Proven track record of successful project delivery with a complex, global organization is required.
· Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and ability to assess impact and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs and risks is required.
· Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile and rRDM including requirements elicitation, system design, development and validation/regulatory requirements.
