Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Industrial Mechanic Apprentices are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the processing plant’s stationary equipment.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team and has a willingness to learn and grow.

$      Base earnings include the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location.
It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
Responsibilities.
Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Maintain and service the processing plant’s stationary equipment including, pumps, gearboxes, chain-drive, conveyors, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and hydraulic components In certain components of this role, it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal   Qualifications.
Registered 3rd or 4th year Industrial Mechanic Apprentice  Valid driver's license  Strong interpersonal skills  Ability to work independently or as part of a team  Previous mining experience is an asset     As Canada’s largest diversified mining company, Teck is committed to providing the world with essential resources safely and sustainably.
