About the Job In our Mining service group Upgrades & Rebuilds, we intend to bring sustainable technologies and services to existing equipment installations and ensure maximum availability of HPGRs (High Pressure Grinding Rolls) in operation.
As a global service line manager for the HPGR program you are overseeing all aspects of the program's operation on a global scale.
It is a dynamic position that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different disciplines and all regions.
The successful incumbent would have the opportunity to be part of a global team and join a growing business with ambitious plans.
This role would be based in Valby, Perth, Santiago de Chile, Arequipa or Salt Lake City.
Your responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans for the HPGR program in alignment with company objectives and market demands.
Provide leadership and direction to the global HPGR team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the HPGR program, regularly monitoring and analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, leveraging feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to service delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and IT, to integrate HPGR services into overall business strategies and maximize value for clients.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for expanding the HPGR program globally.
Provide guidance and support for the professional development of HPGR team members, including training initiatives and career advancement opportunities.
Implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery across all regions and client engagements.
Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on program performance, milestones, and strategic direction, fostering transparency and trust.
Drive innovation within the HPGR program, exploring new technologies, methodologies, and service offerings to stay ahead of market trends and meet evolving client needs.
Collaborate with Product business line, Regional product line managers, engineering and Proposal support team to establish strategies and plans for profitable growth in sales.
Collaborate with other Service Lines to support strategies for profitable revenues including Spare parts, Consumables, professional services, and digital services.
Collaborate with the Procurement to develop and optimize product sourcing plans, quality and cost.
What you bring Master’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Solid experience in applications related to mineral processing equipment’s and principles of comminution, hydraulics, lubrication.
Basic understanding of instrumentation, automation, and electric motors.
Product life cycle management experience is an added advantage.
Ability to identify components, define scope for an upgrade, draft process warranties and negotiate/ discuss with customers.
Strong drive for making a difference, a high level of energy and Integrity in introducing technologies related to upgrade products in the industry.
Good communication skills, written and spoken.
Presentation skills at seminars, exhibitions and customer focused workshops.
Ability to travel up to 30% of your time, domestic and international.
