This role involves overall responsibilities as a Global Leader in the Project Management Office for the Joints Supply Chain Platform.
Responsibilities outlined.
Global responsibility for project Governance for the Project Management Office for the Joints Platform Global responsibility of the project life cycle governance process Partnering closely with DPS SC PMO and Platform PMO – standardizing project management processes across functions and across the network Drive the development, education & training of project management activities.
Elevate portfolio, program, and project management capabilities across the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain Deploy data visualization solutions to drive greater insight to the portfolio and strategic priorities.
Use project/portfolio data to ensure efficient deployment of capital resources across the organization.
Lead the global management, development, deployment, and integration of project governance (Just Do It, TIPs, FPX, Agile etc), which provides a structured framework to generate and transform ideas into executable projects.
Planisware adoption and maintenance for leading project and portfolio data, providing a management tracking and reporting system, enabling data mining and report generation.
Lead a team of site PMO leads in to ensure adherence to standard PM processes and accuracy of site data is maintained.
Key Responsibilities.
Own the Joints Sites Project Governance processes and drive a high performing portfolio/ project management team through the development of outstanding talent, improvement of core project skills and development of robust PMO processes and governance.
Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the team.
Develop both team and individual goals and objectives and measure actual performance against them, to deliver outstanding performance in Joints PMO.
Manage site portfolio leads to ensure consistency across sites to PMO process, governance and system updates Establish plans for talent development, diversification, and professional development for future pipeline team.
End to End deployment and management of life cycle management tools, templates, and methodology.
Drive global adoption of feasibility process, project prioritization process, risk assessment and resource management tools.
Global-level implementation and support of PMO governance.
Partner between sites and global functions to ensure delivery to overall project governance approach, timelines and expectations.
Set expectations on idea generation events to drive innovation and improvements.
Support training and advocacy to ensure consistent utilization of Planisware and project tracking systems for management of projects and portfolio.
Responsible for resource & scheduling management of the project Stage Gate process Responsible for the Global deployment and integration of FPX project management methodology to support the execution of projects across the innovation lifecycle.
Qualifications Qualifications Education.
University Degree level educated (accredited institution) in one of these fields or equivalent.
Engineering, Science, Production / Supply Chain Management, Lean Operations preferred.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Consistent track record in leading significant change initiatives that have delivered breakthrough results for an organization.
Minimum of 6 years overall business experience required, with minimum 2 years experience in project management, portfolio management or change leader role.
Strong cross-functional business insights and consistent track record for delivery of complex, cross-functional projects.
Works and communicates well with others in a team environment.
Ability to work across multiple geographically dispersed locations.
Participates in and understands all compliance related activities pertaining to the role.
Preferred.
Project Management qualification/certification/ experience– e.
.
Diploma, Masters, PMP, Prince Previous experience in regulated industry preferred.
Less than 10% travel Other.
English Fluency Required For US based applicants, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $ to $ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
