Reporting into the Senior Director FM Strategy, the individual will lead the Facility Management Services – Operational Excellence (FMS-OE) Security transformation workstream, delivering physical security solutions across the regions whilst establishing operational excellence, process, and capability improvement.
The position will drive high impact as they champion the transformation workstream, spanning across EMEA 125+ sites, APAC 25+ sites and AMERS 90+ sites.
Specifically, they will have responsibility for driving the co-design of a new supplier partnership operating model, in conjunction with leading a team in defining and establishing standard operating procedures and best practices.
This role will draw on the individuals’ risk, compliance, and security expertise as they work with global security, facility management and procurement in selection of the preferred partners, design of internal governance and execution of robust implementation plans.
The Director of Security will be required to exercise their influence as an experienced and hands-on professional, to ensure innovative solutions are fit-for-purpose and operational excellence principles are implemented without disruption at site level.
Key responsibilities Collaborate and engage with Global Security, Facility Management and Procurement organizations with respect to defining the go to market strategy.
Leverage domain expertise in defining the revised scope of security services, key performance indicators and service levels.
Responsible for the development and establishment of a revised Security target operating model, org.
structure design and plan, taking the lead when collaborating with Facilities Management, Global Security, and the business leadership.
Own the refinement and redefining of standards and risk management processes, demonstrating domain knowledge and influencing experience when driving the implementation across both 3rd party service providers and within the J&J organization to achieve an outstanding end state! Lead the transition process for the deployment and execution of new partner model ensuring business continuity and targeted hyper care in place and through performance management and metrics sustainable and balanced operations can be evidenced.
Acting proficiently to champion these outcomes.
Use influence to drive active engagement of all required customer groups throughout the design and execution phase through a robust Change & Communication strategy.
Initiate and work with other FMS OE workstream leadership teams, exercising their influence and experience to ensure the achievement of workstream outcomes and successful execution of the program overall.
This will also require collaborating proactively to ensure all inter-dependencies across workstreams are considered and pragmatically resolved to achieve a successful outcome.
Other duties.
Advise, review and craft workstream change and communication strategy ensuring alignment with overall program.
Leverage experience to help influence key decision-makers towards desired program/workstream outcomes and stay actively engaged in communicating progress updates and stream specific communications to the central PMO function.
Qualifications Education.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required Minimum 10 years of proven experience and leadership roles / specialism in security services, Risk management and Transformation People Management Experience Experience and skills.
Required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Program and Project management Preferred.
Areas of study in Facilities Management, Security, Business Continuity and Risk Management Preferred Related Industry Experience:- Pharmaceutical, Medical technology & Devices, Facilities Management Other.
