DIRECTOR CYBER COMMUNICATIONS AND AWARENESS

The Johnson & Johnson Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) team is seeking a passionate leader with an interest in working within the life science industry for the Director of Cybersecurity Communications and Awareness.
Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the company.
The Director of Cybersecurity Communications and Awareness is a highly collaborative position with the goal of creating a culture of understanding and ownership around the threats that face us as a company, as well as the role that each employee can play in protecting our data and IT assets.
This includes strong partnership and understanding of our product portfolio, continual evolution of our awareness and training programs and shaping the overall cybersecurity communications and change experience.
As part of this role, the candidate is expected to be a strategic leader and great storyteller.
Someone who is proactive and can shape messages to the executive committee, the business groups, to all levels of IT, and to all J&J associates worldwide.
Additionally, this role will ensure that company employees, contractors, and partners have streamlined access to the awareness information needed to protect company’s information assets and digital systems.
The Director of Cybersecurity Communications and Awareness is responsible for leading and directing all communication and awareness initiatives related to cybersecurity.
This role will shape and lead the Communications and Awareness team and as a player/coach will have the following key responsibilities.
Responsibilities.
· As part of our multi-year strategy, shape, develop and implement an effective cybersecurity communication and awareness program.
Including change management, support of our product portfolio, training and annual campaigns.
· Cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams to support the portfolio of products, ensure consistent and accurate communication of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
· Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, industry experts, and relevant organizations to gather insights and stay updated on regulations, emerging cyber threats and communication trends.
· Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communications, branding, cybersecurity awareness programs and initiatives.
Data driven approach.
· This role requires strong expertise in cybersecurity knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively educate and promote awareness among employees and stakeholders.
· Partner and interact with executives on communications and engagement initiatives, projects, and programs to explain how we are fulfilling our mission to drive greater impact through a modern view of governance, risk and compliance.
· Develop global change management strategies and plans (including communication and learning plans) to support the rollout of change projects and the execution of line activities · Build a trustful collaboration with all key stakeholders within company (e.
.
top management, worker's council, service desks, etc.) · Ensure a strong business engagement, consistent branding and outward focus representing ISRM across the company and all lines of business increasing understanding of cybersecurity and understanding business demand of our program · Ensure alignment of communications with other awareness programs, Global communications, and change initiatives · Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.
· Establish/expand on important metrics for program maturity and communication effectiveness and use that information and feedback from other sources to continuously bring improvements · Forecasted portfolio of work with the ability to analyze demand needs · Oversight and tracking of Communications and Awareness budget, catalog and portfolio, including tracking, efficiency opportunities and forecasting year over year demand, funding and resourcing needs.
· Leading both direct and indirect team members · Partner with communication and security teams across the company to promote security standard methodologies that align with business messages Qualifications Required.
+ years of communications, awareness, change management, marketing or public relations or related experience · Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in cybersecurity, communications, privacy, compliance, or a related field from an accredited college/university or measurable knowledge/experience from proven industry, military, defense, or government.
· Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, best practices, and emerging trends with familiarity of cybersecurity issues, audit and assurance requirements and the handling of incidents and data protection.
Strong leadership track record of building strategy, capabilities and teams as a hands on player/coach.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences; include global and executive.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across different departments and stakeholders.
Proven knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies Proficiency in change management methodologies and tools (business readiness, stakeholder engagement, etc.) Knowledge of change management methodologies; ADKAR, Six Sigma, Agile and Certified Strong results orientation.
Successful candidate is proactive and self-motivated, capable of identifying new opportunities Attention to detail, and strong organizational and teamwork skills and aptitude required Ability to lead in times of ambiguity, strong influencing skills Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional environments as well as the ability to partner with Senior Leaders · Experience with crisis communication, writing for a global audience and able to effectively communicate complex information and influence diverse audience Excellent communication skills - ability to be both a strong technical writer as well as a dynamic public speaker.
A self-starter that can manage and prioritize initiatives that will make the security community and our platform the most successful.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly and flexibly to change.
Preferred.
Experience working with media relations is a plus Certified Information Security Management (CISM) certification is a plus.
Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification is a plus Postion is considered.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
