Job Description IT Design, Strategy and Planning.
Design and lead the organisation's IT direction, strategy and road-map in alignment with overall business goals Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to identify opportunities to harness technology to drive business processes, improve efficiency and drive innovation Design and implement IT policies, standards and procedures across all BU's Technology Infrastructure, Cloud And Operations Oversee the design, deployment and maintenance of the IT infrastructure; including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services Ensure the reliability and security of IT systems and services through effective monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning working closely with CISO team Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery of IT solutions & services Application Development And Management Direct the development, implementation, and integration of software applications and platforms to support overall business processes and objectives Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to unlock opportunities for innovation Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile development methodologies within the IT organisation Data Management And Analytics Oversee the design and implementation of data management and migration strategies, including data governance, quality assurance as well as security.
Drive the use of data analytics and business intelligence tools to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation Leadership And Team Management Leadership and vision for the IT department, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation and ownership Recruit, develop and retain top talent, building a high-performing IT team capable of executing the organisation's IT strategy Mentor and coach IT staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth and development The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience (typically 15+ years) in IT leadership roles, with a track record of success in developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business value at scale Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to understand and align technology initiatives with organisational objectives Deep technical expertise across a range of domains including but not limited to infrastructure, architecture, cloud, applications, cybersecurity and data management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and third-party contracts What's on Offer This is an amazing time to join a transformation ready business and help to unlock the full extent of the business and people potential.
