As our longstanding Chief Financial Officer retires this summer, we are now looking to recruit an outstanding candidate to work with the rest of the Senior Leadership Team to lead us through the next stage in our evolution.
Job Description Key responsibilities will include.
Responsible for all aspects of financial control and risk including delivering year end and working closely with the auditors.
Continuously improving the Finance operation.
spearheading the effort to optimise the Finance function by implementing relevant best practices and system-driven process workflows.
As a senior member of the management team, you will play a critical role in creating, setting and implementing future strategies and directions for the Charity.
Building relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally including advisors and funders.
Supporting your team to deliver their very best, ensuring you build a robust and integrated Finance function.
Working closely with the executive and the board to keep the organisation safe and to   The Successful Applicant You will be a CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant with a proven track record of achievement, with the ability to drive and manage a diverse workforce.
Having worked in charity finance is desirable but not essential for this role.
It is important that the successful individual has held an executive position previously and is used to working with and presenting to boards.
You will have driven the change agenda and be used to reviewing functions and implementing continuous improvement programmes.
