About Our Client Our client is an e-commerce company with a significant presence in continental Europe, selling its products globally, is on the lookout for a dynamic professional to assume the role of Group Chief Financial Officer.
The ideal candidate should possess a robust business acumen, an investment-oriented mindset, and a determination to support the company's ambitious reorganization and long-term growth plans.
This pivotal role will be an integral part of the Management Board and will oversee all financial aspects of the organization.
The Group Chief Financial Officer will collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior executives, including the owners, to drive the company's aspirations of becoming a dominant player in its industry.
Job Description Act as a strategic business partner, offering top-tier financial leadership and analytical support to senior management Co-lead the company along side with CEO with a strong focus on Finance within omnichannel and Supply Chain aspects Take a lead role in critical decision-making processes as a member of the Executive Team, shaping strategic planning not only within the finance domain but also beyond Play a key role in developing customer experience strategies Prioritize productivity, quality, growth, and margin considerations Vigilantly monitor, report on, and challenge the financial performance of various activities across all product categories Provide precise analyses and recommendations to support crucial decisions, maintaining close collaboration with the business Plan, oversee, and monitor vital financial processes, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, risk assessment, and management reporting Ensure the organization comprehends and is committed to delivering on strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts Act as a trusted advisor to the business, extending beyond financial matters Inspire your teams across multiple countries in your role as a people manager The Successful Applicant A qualified professional with an international experience in business finance, ideally in a similar role within an international e-commerce/omnichannel company with a supply chain finance management aspects Experience in liaising with Private Equity organizations will be a significant asset Extensive experience in financial control, including forecasting, financial modeling, and developing business recommendations Proficiency in driving change management, implementing new processes and procedures, financing, and creating new entities is highly desirable Relevant experience in re-shaping company's structures Extensive experience as a people manager, an excellent leader with documented expertise in team building and driving change within their teams Exceptional commercial acumen and entrepreneurial skills In-depth knowledge of all components of P&L and Balance Sheet Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented mentality with a keen eye for detail Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical abilities Capability to provide clear leadership, motivate teams, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English is a prerequisite; knowledge of Polish or German language is highly desirable What's on Offer Opportunity for co-leadership within the company with a bold plan to triple its size within next 3-5 years An exciting opportunity to join the company at a transformative stage Autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of critical processes A competitive salary package in line with European benchmarks International travel is a part of the job
