About Our Client Page Executive are delighted to be working with a growing, international premium Retail & Fashion business that is seeking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer.
The business has operations in the UK, Europe and the USA and prides itself on creating luxury fashion products that are crafted to the highest standard.
The CFO role is newly created, and has arisen due to international business expansion and increasing market & supply chain complexity as the company continues to grow and develop its products.
Job Description The CFO will work closely with the business owner/CEO as well as the broader leadership team to help drive international growth.
The successful candidate will lead a small Finance team and be responsible for all areas of day-to-day finance, as well as guiding strategic plans for growth.
Responsibilities will include.
Responsibility for all areas of financial control & reporting, including statutory accounts preparation and liaising with auditors and related parties Ownership of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to help further develop the company's international presence and market share Continually drive process improvements by applying a commercial approach and also further developing existing processes, systems and reports Further develop a culture of data-driven decision-making by providing relevant market/product insights at board level to further develop growth plans Develop and foster external relationships with investors, banks and relevant third-parties to help drive growth and expansion The Successful Applicant We are looking for a finance leader, familiar with working at board level in a fast-growing, Luxury Fashion/Retail SME business environment.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills & attributes.
Familiarity with managing all areas of finance, from financial control/reporting through to board-level budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning Able to lead, support and mentor members of the finance team, to ensure that they are continuously developing their own skills and attributes Experience of working in a Luxury Fashion/Retail business or related business environment Comfortable working with a Senior Leadership Team and CEO/Owner to drive growth and increased market share by utilising data, market and financial insights An excellent communicator who is able to work in partnership with a range of stakeholder across the business and externally with customers and other partners What's on Offer This is an incredibly exciting time for an experienced finance leader to join the business.
