We are looking for a Business Unit Lead to join our Immunology and Neuroscience team in Sweden.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to develop personally and professionally and grow in an international organization.
The position is located in Stockholm, Sweden and report to the Commercial Director Sweden.
Objectives of the Position As Business Unit Lead you will lead a diverse cross-functional team to increase the impact of innovative medicines in their therapeutic area, being the end-to-end responsible for the commercial strategy and performance, with a short and long term view.
Lead the development and implementation of the local brand plan in alignment with the Regional team strategy; including the long-term strategy and tactical implementation, as well as a regional and key account planning.
Ensure that local customer needs and insights are reflected in the brand strategies and in the go to market strategy for Sweden.
Lead the cross-functional team in Sweden, among others consisting of Medical Affairs lead, HEMAR Manager, Sales Manager and External Affairs Managers, to develop strategy and tactics that positively impact patient outcome and improves business impact.
Drive short- and long-term business results for the therapeutic area through execution of the brand plan, cross-functional collaboration and customer interaction excellence in close collaboration with Brand Manager, Sales Manager and Therapy Area Lead.
Lead, manage and develop Brand Managers to their full potential and support development of cross-functional team members.
Ensure sharing of best-practices and capture alignments between different therapeutic areas in Sweden as well as within the Nordics.
Track and report the business performance, identify deviations and recommend operational and strategic options to improve commercial performance.
Develop and handle relationships with external partners, such as customers, patient groups and policy makers, to continuously supervise the external environment and find opportunities and threats as well as responding with appropriate action.
What you will need to succeed To be successful in this role you have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market landscape in the Nordics with the ability to recognize internal and external market complexity and acts with courage promoting compliance to drive business.
You can evaluate trade-offs between potential costs and benefits and acts accordingly.
You are a standout colleague with good interpersonal skills, ability to influence and interact optimally with internal and external customers.
You have the ability to combine strategic foresight and operational excellence.
You work effectively in a multi-cultural, virtual, matrix environment and lead cross-functional teams without authority.
You guide and provide feedback to increase performance of individuals and/or groups.
Qualifications A bachelor-level (academical) degree or equivalent education in natural sciences, business administration or relevant field (required).
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in comparable roles within the Life Science industry (required).
Experience in Brand Management (required).
Experience with people leadership and talent development responsibility (required).
Experience with budget responsibility (required) High proficiency in the English languages is required.
