About the role This position is a critical role in the implementation and sustainability of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) program for branches or functions across IO.
The Business Transformation Sr Specialist will partner with the IO Markets leadership and OpEx IO leaders to proactively identify, prioritize and execute Business Transformation Opportunities, Major Process Improvement initiatives and manage Cultural Change within their area of responsibility.
The successful candidate will support the Business Operations for the deployment of the Business Transformation Strategy by designing and executing strategic initiatives related with operating transformation, continuous improvement and cultural change across the assigned scope by maximizing operating efficiency and productivity to achieve IO Performance Objectives defined.
The Business Transformation Sr Specialist is expected to have background, academic formation and exposure related to Process Transformation and Innovation; Problem Solving concepts, such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, BPMS and Change Management methodologies to further drive Business Transformation Model throughout the organization and execute the major project identified.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and collaboration skills to drive the change management and serves as a innovator, problem solver, facilitator, project manager and coach to drive the Business Transformation model by leading and managing the assigned team and connects with leadership levels for continued visibility and support.
What you need Bachelor's degree, Master's degree is a plus Certifications or special training required.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification (BB certification strongly preferred) Process Reengineering, Process Quality & Process Improvement Innovation techniques and tools Process Mapping techniques Service Design / Design Thinking Total Quality Management (TQM) Change Management Project Management - Agile preferred Business Case and Financial Modeling At least three (3) years Financial Services experience or Quality related experience required.
Experience in Service Organizations is highly preferred, but Manufacturing, Health Care, Government, Military and other industries exposure are a plus Significant experience in business and operational transformation related roles Strong leadership and management capabilities to guide teams through transformational initiatives and organizational change Proven experience managing and coordinating large scale, complex and cross-functional projects Demonstrated experience creating Business Case and Financial modeling Proven exposure to Innovation tools, techniques, project or innovative and transformational conceptual solutions Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligning transformational initiatives with overall business goals Strong oral, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate to individuals and groups effortlessly, including consultative, influencing, conflict management and negotiation skills Excellent organizational skills, ability to create and maintain work relationships with teams and stakeholders in multiple countries Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with project teams.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skill set Strong change agent and change management skill set Strong time management skills What you will be doing Responsible to work with IO Markets leadership to deploy the Business Transformation strategy Develop and execute business transformation strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
This includes presenting to senior leaders and gaining buy-in along with providing regular updates regarding progress and risks Assessment and analysis of business processes by evaluating current processes and identify area for operational transformation and innovation Research to support the bubble up of new business transformation opportunities including new digital technologies and tools to enhance organizational efficiency and competitiveness Development of financial projections and valuations Preparation of detailed business cases for corporate approval Cross-Functional collaboration with various departments to ensure cohesive implementation of transformation initiatives Facilitate organizational change and manage resistance using of data driven tools and methodologies, and making visible the outcomes of each project and initiative Lead and manage teams responsible for executing transformation projects Foster a culture of innovation, transformation and continuous improvement within the organization Stakeholder communication management Guarantee compliance to ensure transformation opportunities comply with local regulations and standards Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business and operational transformation Once a project is approved, supporting the execution phase Maintain strict confidentiality of all information What we offer At GM Financial we want you to be the most authentic version of yourself.
