About Our Client This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Board Advisor to provide strategic direction to a leading and trusted cosmetic surgery group.
The role is based in London and requires exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in business growth.
Job Description · Form a Close working relationship with the Group Board- especially the CEO · Provide support, guidance, advice, challenge and legal governance to the board.
Be an independent sounding board.
· Work with the Board to set the Group's strategy, vision, values and standards.
· Ensure that the necessary resources are in place for the Group to meet its objectives, and review executive/ Management performance.
· Constructively challenge Board decision making from a neutral and independent perspective.
· Bring extensive commercial knowledge to the board, including insight into organic and acquisitive growth.
· Inform and advise the strategy around operational efficiencies within a clinical environment.
· Support the CEO to create integration plan for acquisitions.
· Provide strategic advice on customer acquisition, marketing, branding, and pricing.
· Attend monthly Group Board Meetings.
The Successful Applicant Experience of working successfully at an Executive Board level in an aesthetic medical, clinical, optical, or dental commercial enterprise.
· Have a strong understanding of challenges that arise within a commercial, clinical business.
· Ideal candidate will have led a similar business on a significant growth journey.
· Experience of operational efficiency transformation.
· The confidence and motivation to improve the Groups performance, and to plan for and address challenges as they are forecast or arise.
· Experience of operating in a highly regulated environment.
· While a medical background is not a pre-requisite, it may be useful.
· The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aesthetic medical products.
· An experienced leader with gravitas- excellent ability to communicate with confidence, influence, and authority.
· Confident and capable of working with, challenging and supporting senior executives including CEO.
· Capable of understanding and analysing detailed financial and commercial issues with a strong focus on audit, financial governance, and financial controls · High Levels of energy, commitment, and enthusiasm.
· Strategic thinker who can seek and analyse information and think flexibly to develop solutions.
· Strong influencing, communication, and presentation skills, able to inspire and motivate others through building confidence and effective communication.
