The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies around the world.
The Account to Report (A2R) process area is a team of credo based, dedicated, finance experts structured in a Global Process based organization, managing processes in a compliant and efficient way through standardization and automation.
The A2R goal is to deliver results through close connection to our corporate and business finance partners while demonstrating a deep understanding of the J&J business.
This position will be in Mumbai working in the Account to Report (A2R) team.
Key Responsibilities.
Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo Maintain Operational Excellence  Responsible for implementing accounting and daily operations for Account to Report (A2R) areas.
 Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, Fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
 Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
 Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
 Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.

Talent Management  Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, hard-working, motivated and diverse Credo-based team.
 Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team.
 Ensure effective performance management within team.
 Lead a team of Analysts if required.

Be a Trusted Business Partner  Implement global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy.
 Internally recruit, mentor, and drive the process SMEs to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach.
 If assigned a role of Operational Key Contact (OKC) then candidate will be the key liaison point for India market with BUF and other partners, answering queries, coordinating with SMEs/analysts on process and operational matters, resolving issues and updating partners on close status.
 If assigned a role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) then candidates will be responsible to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach.

Create exciting Innovation  Generate ideas, fosters, and implements continuous improvement demeanor, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
 Influence and Implement process improvements, generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards.
Qualifications Qualifications.
Education  Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
 ICWA, CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications could be additional.
Required  At least 2 - 4 years of professional experience is required.
 Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
 Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant team members.
 Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.
Preferred  Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO.
 Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company.
 Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach.
 Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines.
 Solid US GAAP, IFRS, Ind AS accounting knowledge.
 Digital/ intelligent automation capabilities.
Other  Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel.
 Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
 Fluent English, other language skills desirable.
