The Associate Director will support and report to the Director of Global Commercial Insights and Analytics, Immunology.
Primary responsibilities include delivering global insights from both primary & secondary market research for new Immunology product development.
Secondarily, the role will also conduct data analytics, which may include sales, claims, EHR and other data analyses.

Associate Directors will have an understanding of the industry, the patient journey and an ability to communicate and adequately represent learnings across teams.
The Associate Director will work on projects across therapeutic areas and have a broad view of the strategic asset and the potential for growth.
Responsibilities include.
Defining and translating key business questions and objectives into actionable study plans, advising and choosing appropriate research methods, guiding and tailoring innovative research design, and presenting actionable insights to partners to drive product development and commercialization strategy.
Handling external research vendors.
Ensuring all market research is conducted in compliance with internal/external policies, and procurement requirements are satisfied.
Communicating actionable insights to partners, including Sr.
Leadership, to drive product development.
Conduct data analytics for new pipeline and business development opportunities, which may include sales, claims, and other data analyses.
As a strategic partner, will work collaboratively with marketing teams as well as other cross-company and cross-functional partners (Medical Affairs, Regulatory, R&D, Regional Teams, Global Analytics Hub).
Due to the nature of the work, will need to lead through complexity, think analytically, prioritize work and allocate resources accordingly.
Qualifications A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field is required.
Primary and secondary market research experience is required.
Background in business analytics, forecasting and/or other analytical areas is required.
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
A solid understanding of the product development process (pre-clinical to launch) is preferred.
Hands on experience designing, implementing and presenting a range of primary and/or secondary market research methodologies is required.
Experience in developing novel approaches for insight generation is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, and effectively manage external partners is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills.
Curiosity and growth mindset to learn and build/improve skill sets.
This position is primarily based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 10% travel.
